Visualizing Empires decline – revisited by Pedro Miguel Cruz illustrates the “decline” of the largest maritime empires of the 19 and 20th centuries. This work make very simple to visualize in the end of the narrative how much of the world was once part of a British, Spanish, Portuguese and French Empires. Consequences are still ongoing and often challenging to be seen, or visualized.
